That's some pretty radical modification and some very powerful new spells.

I hope RDM gets similar treatment!

I wonder how good Auspice will be.. And hey, no more R1's due to low mp.. All Raise and Reraise spells will now be 150 mp, and higher tier = lower cast time.. Kinda confused, but not complaining

Yeah it will be interesting, WHMs will want to take damage now for enhanced effects under Afflatus Misery.

But as a tank, the thing that intrigues me most is:

- Cure / Cure II / Cure III / Cure IV / Cure V
Casting the above Cure spells while Afflatus Solace is activated grants the target the effect of Stoneskin for a short duration.

Remains to be seen just how strong the Stoneskin effect is, but for HNMs/gods/etc every bit of damage reduction helps. From the sound of it, it activates on every cure. I wonder if the SS potency will be affected by the stored total of cured HP under Afflatus Solace... get a bunch of curing recorded before you pop.

Wait and see what they add to other jobs. I have a feeling this is just the beginning of some awesome additions and modifications to give the old jobs (RDM, BLM?) new play styles.
