FFXIV Alpha Test Footage

Somebody had the balls to stream and record themselves playing the alpha test. This is the first video with real meat to it, the one before it has a very limited view of the Character Creation screen, only the last 9 minutes of it though.

actually i thought it kinda looked like shit too. i know its not the final version yet but the way they taruish thing was running looked stupid as shit. plus everything even though it looked brilliantly 3d it all looks more cartoony than 11 and that kinda blows. i definitely wont be playing it

I think some of the cs parts kinda looked not cartoon but sketched or something, maybe not the final product. I think as far the weapon charging up prior to use and the motion of the character is similar to "Sword of Mana". Love the simplest thing as moving/resizing the chat window how you want. I'm still watching it, and love what i see. I glad thus far.

As for Gad or anyone else its your opinion you hate or like it. No need to argue someones opinion because it is more bickering back-and-forth and ultimately the dumbest conversation ever. If there isn't two sides pro/con likes/dislikes or whatever then we would have a lot less to talk about.

Also, yeah Nan. The ability to customize UI ingame in any way is sexy, I remember in SWG that I could take a chat channel, drag it out of the chatbox and it would become another chatbox with just that channel. That and being able to move everything on screen was kinda nice.

And yep, hence why I didn't go into a detailed argument.

Anyways I do like the game lol I know it's still in beta and u have to admit somethings don't look right from what I saw, hopefully the lagged vid that i was seeing was the dudes internet connection or the way he recorded it, that was basically what i was referring to.Other then that looks good and I will be giving it a try...
